Getting Involved
“We need your help in making this exciting initiative a reality. A gift is an investment in the present and future vitality of the Leadership Institute and most of all produces the return of a talented cadre of leaders for the 21st century.”
Alumnus Dennis A. Orwig, CEO and Chairman of the Board for NOVATEC BIOSOL, Germany
Financial Investment
To bring the SEAS Leadership Institute to fruition, we need to secure alumni engagement and financial support. Please consider focusing your annual support of Miami with a gift to the SEAS Leadership Institute. If you do not typically make an annual gift to SEAS, please consider doing so. Our ability to secure financial support during this “start-up” phase is critical.
“The Leadership Institute goal is to harness the collective knowledge and experience of alumni and business leaders and keep the School abreast of current developments in the business world.”
Alumnus Gary Rudemiller, VP of Operations – Towel and Tissue, Wausau Paper, Kentucky
Executive Fellows Mentor Program
In addition to financial support, the Leadership Institute is seeking alumni and business leaders to participate in its Executive Fellows Mentor Program. This innovative one-on-one virtual mentorship program matches a seasoned leader with a student based on an in-depth understanding of a student’s career interests.
- The mentor assists the student in creating and updating their individualized leadership learning plan
- The mentor and student participate in regular conversations over a mutually agreed upon period
- Executive Fellows participate in a mentor orientation program and become part of the Executive Fellows community.
